An out-of-control car narrowly missed pet dogs before smashing into parked vehicles in Thailand.

Dashcam footage shows the black car dashing out onto the road and hitting a wooden stand before crashing in front of the street vendors in Songkhla province, southern Thailand on December 10.

Dogs were seen scattering all over the street to avoid being hit. The car finally crashed into a parked truck in the street, smashing into its bumper.

The truck owner had reportedly parked earlier to buy food from a vendor.

The driver of the grey Toyota, who has not been named, told locals that it lost control of the accelerator while they were pulling out of the car park and could could not hit the brakes in time.

Police arrived on the scene and interviewed the driver, who agreed to pay for the damages to the other vehicle.
