Lone tusker spotted amid street in Sri Lanka
Several onlookers turned into paparazzi upon spotting a lone elephant near the road in Sri Lanka's North Central Province on December 14. The incident took place in Minneriya.
Visuals feature the locals stopping mid-way upon noticing the elephant in their proximity. The jumbo munches on the greens adjacent to the road and tours the region at its own pace. Later, it retreats to the sidelines as vehicular movement resumes.
The elephants in the region are known for straying off their corridors. They often emerge on the roads, following which the passers-by halt their vehicle mid-way to behold the experience, obstructing vehicular movement.
