An animal charity in the Gaza Strip uses old toys and bikes to make wheels for disabled dogs and cats.

Footage captured on December 15 showed workers from Breed Rescue Association fitting one of their devices to a dog named Lucy that was partially paralysed in a car accident.

The brightly coloured wheels Lucy now uses to get around were salvaged from a discarded baby bike.

The charity is aiming to help 32 disabled animals in the same way by using recycled materials.

The organisation says they are looking after 12 dogs with missing limbs or paralysis and 20 cats.
