Tributes laid outside south London kebab shop after fatal stabbing

Floral tributes and messages were laid outside a kebab shop in Kingston, south London, on Thursday (December 16) to a 32-year-old man who was stabbed on Wednesday evening.

Police were called just after 7pm on Wednesday, December 15, to reports of a man with stab wounds on Surbiton Road. It is understood the victim was attacked outside the takeaway The Kebab Guyz. Officers and paramedics attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was named locally as 32-year-old Farhad Joseph Khalili. A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The kebab shop was open for business on Thursday evening, although a large police cordon remained in place on surrounding roads.
