In view of the unresolved problems of a number of cases of Human Rights Violations in Indonesia, Solidarity of the Papuan People held a peaceful demonstration in front of the Sorong City park, to coincide with the commemoration of Human Rights Day.
In this demonstration, the orators convey a number of demands, so that the Indonesian government can resolve them. One of them is related to the resolution of human rights problems in Papua Province, which so far have not been completed. This peaceful demonstration was closely guarded by security forces dressed in military service as well as a number of intelligence from the Police and the TNI, until all orators delivered a number of orations. Including human rights violations that occurred in Papua, so that no longer cause casualties. After delivering their speeches, the demonstrators then dispersed in an orderly manner.
