Three monitor lizard fight each other in pond outside apartment
Three huge monitor lizards were seen fighting each other outside an apartment in Thailand.
Video shows the reptiles wrestling in the dirty water in a swamp in Samut Prakan province on December 7.
Onlooker Ayawadee Srisangwan said: 'The fight was violent. It looked like the male monitor lizard was fighting for the female.'
Male monitor lizards tussle with each other for mating rights to females, which normally wait nearby for the victor to emerge. It is unusual to see three of the reptiles battling it out and most often there are just two of the reptiles grappling.
