Passersby join effort to rescue baby who got head stuck in hotel's revolving doors in China
Passersby joined an effort to rescue a baby after its head got stuck in a hotel's revolving doors in southern China.
The video shows a woman passing the hotel’s revolving door with her baby in her arms. The child's neck got stuck in the door, unable to move.
A witness said: "The child was breathing very hard and looked dispirited, lack of oxygen.”
The hotel guests and staff found a hammer to break the glass door. In order to ensure the safety of the baby, they finally broke the glass with their bare hands.
After more than three minutes of rescue efforts, the child finally managed to get out of the trap and was hospitalised for treatment. At present, the baby has recovered and been discharged.
The video was filmed on December 6, in Anqing City, and provided by local media with permission.
