A man who fell in between the platform and a moving train was swiftly rescued by onlookers in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

CCTV footage from December 19 shows the male passenger tripping as he attempted to board the moving train.

He was then dragged along the platform before officials grabbed and removed him from harm's way.

A man tripped while boarding a train in central India's Madhya Pradesh on December 19. The incident took place in Gwalior.

CCTV footage features the train leaving the station. A passenger hurriedly tries to board the locomotive, following which it starts moving. The man loses her balance and falls, almost sliding into the passage between the train and the platform. Within moments, an RPF official spots him and rushes to his rescue, pulling her to safety.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) official Parul Yadhav displayed vigilance and saved the man who fell while boarding a train, averting a major tragedy.
