California man rushes out the toilet as 6.2-magnitude earthquake shakes his home
Dramatic footage captured on an indoor security camera shows a California family's reaction to a devastating 6.2-magnitude earthquake that rocked the coast of Northern California on December 20.
The video shows various household objects either violently shaking or falling as a girl rushes outside the house, followed by her dad, who was in the loo when the disaster occurred.
"It was about 12:30 pm on a Monday and I was spending time with my daughters outside in the yard when this powerful earthquake hit our home," the filmer, Sarah Kitchen said.
"My youngest daughter, 2, was outside with me while our oldest daughter was inside when the quake started.
"My husband was using the restroom and you can see him running outside while trying to button his pants toward the end of the video!"
