Rains and winds knocked down trees and cut off electricity in Tangerang, Indonesia

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds in the city of Tangerang on Thursday afternoon yesterday knocked down large trees and resulted in blackouts in almost half the city. This happened because a fallen tree branch hit the transverse electric cable so that many cables and power poles were damaged. That night the electricians tried to restore service as soon as possible. There were no injuries or lives in the incident that occurred on Jalan Panglima Polim, Poris Plawad.
