Man falls underneath moving train, gets rescued in northern India
A man slipped into the passenger between a moving train and the platform while boarding it in northern India's Uttar Pradesh on December 26. The incident took place in Kanpur.
CCTV footage features the man losing his balance as the train begins moving when he tries to board it. Following this, he loses his grip and slips into the gap between the locomotive and the platform. Within moments, an alert railway official rushes to his rescue and pulls him to safety while a crowd of curious onlookers gathers around.
Amit Dwivedi, the railway sub-inspector on patrol, displayed his vigilance and pulled the man to safety while the guard, Digvijay, stopped the train, averting a major tragedy.
