This is the light snow that hit the Rocky Mountain area of Victor, Colorado on December 28, with more heavy snow expected soon.

Light snow fell over the San Juan and Rocky Mountain Ranges this week but more is expected as a winter blast makes its way through the American West going into the new year. Another round of snow will bring many Rocky Mountain locations above 8,000 feet more than a foot of snow by Tuesday morning with light snow showers continuing through Wednesday and Thursday. Over the weekend, forecasters say that yet another big blast of snow looks to be possible and that could bring another significant round of snow to the mountains with totals possibly eclipsing a foot in some locations.
