Vehicles halt as herd of elephants cross busy road in Sri Lanka
Wildlife was having the best time while taking a tour of the human world in Sri Lanka on December 28. The incident took place in Habarana in the Anuradhapura district.
Visuals feature the herd of elephants emerging from the forest cover to cross the road and enter the other side of the greenery. Following this, the vehicles halt at a distance while the passers-by witness and behold the occurrence of the jumbos retreating to the woods.
The vehicle passing by stopped to let the herd of elephants cross the road, averting a major tragedy as several vehicles collide with these animals trying to relocate, posing a threat to their lives. Moreover, the jumbos are known for straying off their corridor to look for food, giving the onlookers a sight to cherish.
