Thousands of Chinese queue from 3 am to buy Disney merchandise
More than 5,000 people lined up at 3 a.m to buy Disney merchandise today (December 29) in Shanghai Disneyland in China.
Fans were desperate to get their hand on the "Duffy & Friends" Christmas Collection that was on sale for one day only.
Only those selected through a lottery were eligible to purchase the limited edition merch and each of those was restricted to two items.
Soon afterwards items began appearing for re-sale on auction sites with much-inflated prices.
