Big Ben rang its bell for the first time in four years at 12:00pm noon today (December 31st, 2021).
The iconic London landmark, officially known as Elizabeth Tower, has been under renovation since 2017. The bell is due to sound 12 times at midnight on New Year's Eve to mark the arrival of 2022.
