Blindfolded 11-year-old boy cycles for 20 km to raise awareness on violence against women in India
11-year-old boy, Saran Dev, cycled for 20 km while blindfolded to raise awareness on the widespread violence against women in his country, India.
Dev embarked on this mission as part of his martial arts training, hoping to help achieve protection and justice for women and girls living in India. In the State of Tamilnadu, many have committed suicide or lost their lives because of violence and harassment committed by men.
The blindfolded bike challenge lasted 1 hour and 3 minutes. After the event, he was awarded a gold medal, which he dedicated to India's Chief Defence Secretary, Bipin Rawat, who has recently passed away.
