Kazakhstan: protest on January 3 in Aktau

Rallies have been held in Kazakhstan for several days. They are associated with an increase in prices for liquefied gas.
On January 3, in Aktau, the capital of the region, protesters blocked the road from the airport and staged a rally on the square near the city administration, staying there overnight and demanding, in addition to lowering gas prices, raising salaries and improving the welfare of Kazakhs. By the morning of January 4, about 2 thousand protesters gathered on the square in Aktau, joined by workers of large oil fields in the Tengiz, Karazhanbas and Kalamkas regions.
