Kazakhstan: protesters' reaction to the announcement of lower gas prices

Against the background of mass protests, the Kazakh authorities announced a reduction in prices for liquefied natural gas. The Cabinet of Ministers of Kazakhstan said that in the Mangystau region of the country, the price per liter of liquefied gas will be reduced to $ 0.11 (about 50 tenge).
