A woman's life was dangling by a thread when she almost slipped under a train while boarding it in eastern India's Jharkhand on January 3. The incident took place at the Tatanagar Junction, located in Jamshedpur.

CCTV footage features the passenger attempting to board the moving locomotive, following which she tries to hop inside the compartment. Unfortunately, she loses balance and slides down in the gap between the train and the platform, posing a threat to life as she gets dragged along the coach. Luckily, an alert railway cop rushes and pulls the passenger to safety.

In a life-saving act, the on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable, identified as Rina Kumbhkar, showed vigilance and rescued the woman, who got dragged along the moving compartment while boarding it at the railway station.
