Dozens gathered outside Glynn County Courthouse on January 7 to listen to Ahmaud Arbery's murderers given life sentences without parole.

January 07, 2022 – Brunswick, Georgia: On Friday morning at the Glynn County Courthouse people gathered to hear the judge determine if Greg McMichael, his son Travis McMichael, and their neighbor William Bryan are sentenced with or without the possibility of parole.

The New Black Panthers, Armed United Black Militia and members of the original Black Panthers Militia were also outside the courthouse assisting Ahmaud’s family as security, armed members of the BPM stood guard outside of the courthouse.

Ahmaud Arbery’s family members sat together in the courtroom during the sentencing while other supporters sat outside the courthouse listening to family statements as they wept.
