This 8-year-old girl from Bhadrak, Odisha, has shaved her head and donated her hair to cancer patients.

Mamali Panda became inspired after she watched a video on YouTube about a woman who donated her hair to patients with cancer.

Panda said: "I decided to donate my hair to the Hyderabad Hair Donation Trust. I appeal to all to come forward for social service and mankind so that we will live peacefully."

8 years girl donated her Hairs for Cancer patients.

Mamali ,one 8 years girl, who studies at “Sarapada Bidya Mandir “ in Class-III of Bhandaripokhari Block of Bhadrak,the eastcoast area of INDIA,donated her hairs recently to a Voluntary Organization of Hyderabad(In INDIA )for hair transplantation of Cancer patients .
In 2020 lockdown period, by distributing foods to stray animals and birds, masks to tribal society, she became a central point of discussion in her locality. Of course she is continuing this till now.

Near about 1 year back, she viewed from ‘You Tube’ that a lady donated her hairs to cancer patients for transplantation of hairs, which attracts and reflects her mind to donate her hairs to cancer patients. Generally, after Chemotherapy, cancer patients are become bald-headed in reaction of medicine .

Hence she expressed her desire to her parents. Her father has no idea about it, so he inquired about it to collect the address of Hyderabad’s Voluntary organization which collects the hairs, but he failed. At last he got the address from Google search .Her father discussed with the organization and according to it’s guidelines, cut the hairs and sent it through courier.

Translation- I observed from” You Tube” that Cancer patients are suffering after taking chemo. Post-chemo reaction is falling hairs from their heads and they feels uneasy for it when they moved in outside. So I decided to donate hairs and I handed over my hairs to ‘Hyderabad Hair Donation Trust”. I appeal to all to come forward for social service and mankind, so that we will live peacefully.
