The customs officials seized 2.33 kg (5.13 lbs) gold worth over Rs 1 crore (USD 1,34,630) from northern India's New Delhi on January 8. The incident took place at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Visuals feature the man standing with his pants unzipped, revealing a leather belt underneath. Thick chains of gold remain curled up on the belt, which the man then takes off and hands to the custom officials.

The officials seized the gold and arrested a passenger travelling from Dubai. Moreover, upon interrogation, the smuggler disclosed that he had performed the drill four times earlier as well.
