Heroic Indian healthcare workers are braving deep snow and dangerous conditions to get Covid-19 vaccines to some of India's most remote northern communities.

Video shot on 9 January showed the workers carrying their gear as they walk through snow in Kandi village of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Such healthcare officials risk slipping on snow-covered roads while traveling to such remote areas to administer Covid-19 vaccines.

Amid the surge of Covid-19 cases, the healthcare workers risked their lives and braved the snow to administer the vaccine to the locals in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident took place on January 9 in the Kandi village, located in the Rajouri district.

Visuals feature the healthcare officials carrying their equipment and walking across the region covered in several layers of snow. One of them also uses a stick to smoothly move on the snowy pathways.
