This is the scary moment when a fast-moving vehicle just south of Edinburgh, Scotland veers onto oncoming traffic and causes a scary accident in the early hours of January 4.

The driver tells Newsflare it was on the A6094 shortly before it joins the A701, just past Roseview steading.

Ed Bewsher, 47, was the unfortunate victim of being crashed into head-on, but said that he and the other driver were both able to walk away without any major injuries.

"I assume the oncoming vehicle was doing around the same speed as me or slightly more. Hard to tell. The other car was also written off and had major damage to the driver’s side front," Bewsher tells Newsflare.

Bewsher was in his Audi Allroad headed off to go shooting, as he owns a firearms shop where he is a registered dealer.

Car coming in the opposite direction crossed the median and drove into the driver's side front wheel and door (an Audi A6 Allroad).
