A dog has been labelled "Gordog Ramsay" on TikTok thanks to her unusual – and hilarious – reactions to eating treats.

Two-year-old Kora, who lives with owner Alyson, 29, a veterinarian from North Carolina, US, is a tough food critic.

Now a social media star with over 413,000 followers, she is known for chomping her lips whenever she tries a dish that is to her liking – leaving TikTok users in stitches.

In her most popular video, which has over 9.5 million views and 2.5 million likes, Kora sits on the floor eagerly awaiting a piece of steak that she's about to receive.

Like a pro however, she gives nothing away – taking a few moments to do her now trademark chomping – before giving her verdict.

Her fans go wild for the hilarious clips, with many comparing her to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

“Gordon Ramsay in dog form," wrote one user.

A third person even tagged the famous chef, telling him he could learn a thing or two from the pooch: “Take lessons please how to taste your food and then review about it.”

“The only dog in the world who actually tastes the food," added someone else.

“That has to be the most adorable reaction ever," wrote another fan.

"For me is the chew, chew, chew," added someone else.

“She had a couple of videos prior to the steak video that really took off unexpectedly for the same behaviour and it really caught us off guard," Alyson said.

“I remember the very first moment she started chattering after tasting food and you can hear us outbursting with laughter in the background.

“I love we can continue to spread happiness and that others enjoy her goofy behaviour just as much as we do.”

Kora is also known for her love of cheese, having racked up tens of thousands in other clips, including one of her tasting a nacho chip with cheese, rating the dish 7/10.

Although she is now a star, the dog had a tough start in life.

Alyson adopted the pooch when she was surrendered at the clinic where she works as a vet.

Then just a few months old, she had been hit by a truck during her life as a working dog and fractured her left femur.

“Kora had a long recovery and months of kennel rest followed by physical therapy,” Alyson said.

“She has always been a very sweet-tempered dog but really came out of her shell at six to eight months old.

“During her healing process, she came to work with me every day and really learned to love her work family.”

Now, Kora lives with Alyson, her fiancé Tyler and their two other dogs and is loving life, food and social media stardom.

Her owner said: “I think she has caught on to being recorded, because as soon as the cameras/phones come out, she gets right in position and starts getting excited.

Although Alyson says it’s fine to give dogs tiny bits of steak, she does warn others not to go overboard and make sure that what they are feeding their dogs is safe.

She added: “We try to not give our pets too many treats and also mindful of pets who have known sensitivities.

“As an emergency veterinarian, I see dogs develop obesity and pancreatitis/gastroenteritis from human food consumption.

“So our pets, if not sensitive to it, will infrequently get a small taste of fun human foods. It makes it extra special for them when they get a small taste.

“I would still consider them fairly spoiled though, as Kora knows when the treats are about to come out.”

Some common ingredients that you should never feed your dogs include onions, garlic, avocado and chocolate.
