Monkey learns the art of opening a tap to quench its thirst in South India
Location: Arani, Thiruvannamalai district of Tamilnadu state in South India.
A temple in the Arani area is located in the foothills of a mountain. Monkeys from the hills climb down to the temple in search of food and water. One such monkey felt thirsty.
It came to the nearby water tank that is in the temple premises. It opens the tap and drinks water and moves away. The temple authorities say it is skilled in the art of opening a tap and it also closes the tap when its thirst is quenched. But now due to the crowd the monkey left the tap open.
