Schools closed as thousands of French teachers go on strike over COVID-19 measures
Half of France's primary schools were closed today (January 13) as teachers across the country went on strike over COVID-19 measures in the education sector.
Among a list of demands, teachers are calling for better protection for staff and students against infection and better consultation between the government and teachers over the COVID strategy.
