A youth had a close shave with death as he escaped hitting a private bus that was taking a U-turn in southern India's Karnataka on January 8.

The incident took place in Eliyar Padavu in Mangalore.

CCTV footage features the young man arriving on his scooter at a high-speed and miraculously avoiding hitting the bus while it takes a U-turn on the road. Following this, the youth steers his vehicle in an effort to avoid hitting any object, hitting a gate next to him. Besides, the two-wheeler passes through a small space between a shop and a tree.

The incident occurred opposite the Indo Fisheries fish processing unit near Elyarpadavu. The youngster hailing from Malar in Pavoor village escaped from the jaws of death, while his scooter also hit the door of the fish processing unit. When the scooter passed in between the shop and a tree, his helmet fell down, while he continued to ride his scooter at the same speed.

There was hardly enough space for one scooter to move between the shop and the tree but the person managed to ride the scooter without stopping. The skilful way in which the scooter was handled is being appreciated by the netizens.
