The Matute Remus Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. This work is part of a system of bridges located on the Lázaro Cárdenas road, at the intersection with López Mateos Avenue, one of the busiest in the city and which also crosses the 4 central municipalities of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area. With this work, the Lázaro Cárdenas road becomes a low-emissions viaduct and fewer traffic lights. The bridge is named in honor of the civil engineer Jorge Matute Remus, known for the relocation of the Telephones of Mexico building located on Juárez Avenue. It is an emblematic work that recalls a recognized man from Jalisco; With it, a professional is honored who left his traces and his future vision in the layout of the city.
