Girl perches herself on tree while trying to evade Covid19 jab in central India
In order to prevent herself from getting vaccinated against the coronavirus, a girl in central India's Madhya Pradesh climbed a tree.
The incident took place in Mankari village, located in Bada Malhera Tehsil of Chhatarpur district. The incident took place on January 15.
Visuals show a vaccinator walking towards the tree where the girl had perched herself. A man is seen trying to coax the girl into alighting the tree. After a brief moment, she descends and squats as the woman vaccinator gently pushes the jab.
According to reports, girls between the age of 15 and 18 years were being vaccinated against the coronavirus, when 18-year-old Reena climbed the tree, in order to escape getting jabbed.
The health workers, however, were determined and explained her gently, and were able to get her to change her mindset and get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
