A Thai woman revived a lizard when its heart appeared to have stopped after it spent too long stuck on an air conditioning unit.

Health worker Jang Nipaporn saw the common house gecko fall to the ground before she performed CPR on it in Kamphaeng Phet, Thailand.

After pumping the heart, the reptile gained consciousness and moved again.

She said: 'This is my first time performing CPR on a gecko. I am relieved it worked and the animal survived.'
