This skier's heart-stopping tumble down an incredibly steep mountain in Whistler, Canada, was captured on camera.

Footage from March 2021 shows Christopher G failed to stop on a descent that saw him cartwheel down the mountain in spectacular fashion.

He said: "I was forced off the line I wanted to ride by my sluff/small avalanche. It was way too steep to stop, so I had to make a split-second decision.

"Obviously, I ended up crashing in a spectacular fashion!

"I was unharmed. In fact, I went on to get some of my best shots of the year later that day!"

This video captures the intense moment Christopher G. cartwheeled down a snow-covered mountain with no stop in sight.

"I was filming with the big mountain collective as we were skiing some super steep spine lines," Christopher told us. "I was forced off the line I wanted to ride by my sluff/small avalanche. It was way too steep to stop, so I had to make a split-second decision.

"Obviously, I ended up crashing in a spectacular fashion!"

The subject then revealed that he was able to come out of the frightening situation in question completely unharmed.

"I was unharmed. In fact, I went on to get some of my best shots of the year later that day!" Christopher added.
