Firefighters rescue thief trapped in sewer after he calls police for help in China
Firefighters rescued a thief trapped in a sewer after he called the police for help in eastern China.
Video filmed in the city of Lishui in Zhejiang Province on January 19 shows a fireman with professional protective equipment being lowered down into around 10 manholes to try to locate the thief.
After around an hour, the firemen found the trapped thief and set up deep well rescue equipment immediately to save him.
According to reports, the 34-year-old man hid in the sewer to try to avoid being found by the police after stealing.
The man was taken away by the police and the case is being investigated.
