Three clips filmed in Taiwan show that not looking before turning into a road is a truly global form of stupidity.

In the first, filmed in Beimen District in Chiayi City on 5 November 2021, a moped user picked a terrible moment to cross a busy road, apparently not checking if there were cars coming first. There were, and it was only good luck that saved them from a collision and serious injury.

In another, recorded in Hualien County on 10 October 2021, a driver was casually driving down the road when a blue car made a u-turn into its path. It was only the quick reaction of the driver of the fast-moving car that prevented a crash.

In the last, on 2 November 2021, a reckless car driver in Daan District of New Taipei City pulled out of a parking space into the path of several mopeds, almost knocking one over. Fortunately, the rider was able to swerve and just avoided a serious smash.
