A giant tusker, named Sando, walked along some safari jeeps packed with visitors in Sri Lanka's Yala National Park, spread across the Southern and Uva provinces on January 19.

Visuals feature the magnificent elephant strolling amid the greenery and approaching the safari vehicles in daylight. While the visitors have the best time of their lives, the jumbo follows them around. Thankfully, the driver speeds off to avert any tragedy.

Sando arrived in the park a few days ago. However, the tusker's intention to appear in the forest cover was to find a mate.

There have been instances where Yala elephants have chased safari vehicles. However, the Wildlife Department takes strict action against tourists for chasing elephants.
