Minor flees away with bag full of $ 2,688 cash, gets caught in central India
A minor stole a bag full of cash worth Rs 2 lakh (USD 2,688) from a farmer, following which the cops caught him and recovered the man's hard-earned money in central India's Madhya Pradesh.
The incident, caught on CCTV, took place in the Gotegaon region of the Narsinghpur district on January 18.
Visuals feature the man standing at one end of a counter on which his bag full of cash rests. Within moments, a boy enters the scene and stands near the bag. He then checks his surroundings and sneakily flees from the spot with the money.
The farmer, identified as Pancham Singh, stopped at the store on his way home from the bank when the incident unfolded. Following the robbery, he informed the local police, who identified the minor based on the CCTV footage and recovered Singh's bag, along with the cash, from him.
