Volunteers, many of whom have lost family members to coronavirus, continue to paint new hearts and repaint some of which have faded overtime on the National Covid Memorial Wall. Over 150,000 red hearts have been painted to date on the wall outside St Thomas' Hospital opposite the Houses of Parliament, one for each life lost to COVID-19, and new ones are added daily.
