Truck drivers rescue car stranded in the middle of the road. M1 motorway, Luton, Bedfordshire, UK
Southbound on the M1, going past the exit for Luton airport. Start to hit traffic, and find a car stationary, probably broken down, in lane 2. Because of the risk, both to the driver of the car, and the traffic behind, I stop my truck in lane 1, in order to create a safe area so we can push the car to the hard shoulder and safety. Another truck driver joins me to push the car, as a third driver stops his truck on the slip road (to the left, not seen on the video) to hold the traffic there. We push the car clear, and the traffic starts flowing again.
