Thousands of protesters, many of them health workers, marched in central London on Saturday 22 January to oppose mandatory vaccination.

In this video, people who appear to be National Health Service (NHS) workers can be seen throwing medical scrubs over the gates at Downing Street, and chanting “shame on you!”

A flare was also thrown towards Downing Street.

Workers in the UK's National Health Service (NHS) are required to be vaccinated by April.

The need for a delay between jabs mean the process of firing what could be more than 70,000 as-yet unvaccinated staff could begin on 3 February.

At the protest, NHS staff have been joined both by people concerned about civil liberties, and so-called anti-vaxxers.
