The conflict between the Ukrainian and Russian sides has noticeably escalated in 2021. Since 2014, the probability of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine is the highest possible at the moment. A huge amount of Russian military equipment has been transferred to the borders with Ukraine, both on the territory of the Russian Federation and on the territory of neighboring Belarus. Many experts admit the real possibility of an escalation of the military conflict between the parties, despite the fact that Vladimir Putin denies an escalation of the situation.

– We need to live together, as the USSR used to be. We were friendly with each other and no one asked for the nation, and now we should not ask the nation, we should live amicably, even if you are a Jew, even if you are a Moldavian, even if you are a Ukrainian, what difference does it make who you are, we need to live amicably and without any weapon.

[question] Are you worried that a war might happen between Russia and Ukraine? Have you done any preparation for it?

– I'm worried, of course, but I wouldn't want there to be a war. we don't need a war, we need a beautiful world and live together. We are not preparing for war. It's just that we always have a supply in the margin. There is always a margin. If something starts upstairs, we will hide in the margin anyway, we have everything, everything to hide from the war. But I don't think it will start. I am a Moldavian and I am 70 years old, I don't think that Russia started the war first. If the Americans want to fight, we would be Indians, but we will never be Indians. I'm telling you this honestly, frankly.
