Quick-release collar saves dog from breaking neck
Springer spaniel, Chester (7) has jumped this stile many times - always between the posts. Typically, the first time his owner, Rod Kirkpatrick, films him he’s off-target and clatters into one of the posts. Thankfully he was wearing a quick-release collar which snapped, as it’s designed to, just in-the-nick-of-time, saving the hapless hound from a potentially serious injury. Rod checked him over - to discover he was okay. Chester carried on jumping stiles much more stylishly for another few miles on his walk home home.
