Motorcycle rider has lucky escape after being knocked over by truck and narrowly missing the wheels
A motorcycle rider had a lucky escape after she was knocked over by a truck and narrowly missed its wheels.
The woman was riding her scooter on a busy road when she was nudged and toppled over by the large vehicle on her right side in ca province, Indonesia on Friday, January 14.
She fell right beside the truck's wheels and would have been run over if she hadn't rolled away from her scooter. The two-wheeler was then squashed by the truck seconds later.
Onlooker Febri Sibintang said: 'We just heard the loud crash and the woman asking for help. She was lucky that she survived.'
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital to get treatment for her minor injuries while her scooter was brought to a garage for repair.
The truck driver was also questioned by officers who responded to the scene but investigations on the cause of the crash are still ongoing.
