This hilarious cockatoo from Chicago is a real drama queen when it comes to getting her claws clipped.

Footage captured in October 2021 shows 'Kirah' letting out a long scream every time her owner gets close with the scissors.

"My dramatic parrot doesn’t like getting her nails clipped but she’s very sweet, so I recorded her reaction," said the filmer Abdalkreem Y.

According to her owner, the bird enjoys the drama of the process because she's easily capable of getting away or actually resisting if she wanted to.

'If this aww-inducing video proves anything, it's that there's never a dull moment with a pet parrot.

What makes it evident that the bird is not actually afraid of the metal blades is the fact that she doesn't try to fly away and appears rather chill (if you ignore the comical yelling parts).
