This is the heartwarming moment a woman and her family screamed in delight after learning she had passed the Philippine nursing licensure exam - after her seventh attempt.

Ernida Peralta, 34, tensely scrolled on her laptop through the list of board passers in Pagadian City, the Philippines on July 16. Her supportive daughter Jessica recorded as the whole family erupted in cheers when Ernida's name finally appeared on the list this year.

The newly-licensed nurse said that due to financial constraints, it took her nine years to complete the nursing program in which she enrolled in 2004. She took her first licensure exam in 2013 and failed. However, the determined woman persevered until she finally achieved sweet success this year.

She said: 'All the sacrifices I made have finally paid off after a long time. I thank God because I feel His love for me and my family, who were always there no matter how many times I failed.'
