Panic ensues among the locals and the officials upon beholding the occurrence, while the big cat drifts away. Meanwhile, the officials attempt to disperse the crowd to avoid chaos. Besides, the officials use various equipment and drones to track down the leopard in the vicinity.

The leopard strayed from its habitat and entered the village in search of food, spreading fear among the villagers. The big cat further attacked Tunde Adivasi, Dharmadas Patel, Puran Rakwar, Madan Parihar, and Devendra Singh Parihar, in the field, leaving them injured.
