A toddler fell off a scooter when his mother drove it across a road in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province on April 7, 2021, shows a boy suddenly dropping from the backseat of a scooter after his mother drove it across a road.

Since the mother did not notice the incident, she drove away. The boy got back on his feet and ran across the busy road to chase his mother.

Police officers witnessing the scene ran to brought the boy to the roadside.

After a while, the mother came back to find her child and the police officers handed the child over to her safely.

2021年4月7日上午9点左右，在浙江宁波市江北区慈城镇保黎北路与宁慈西路的交叉口，一位妈妈从交警怀里接过一男孩忍不住大哭起来，并连连向交警致谢，引得不少群众围观。
原来，这位粗心妈妈骑着电动车带着孩子逛完超市回家，在经过路口等红绿灯，重新启动电动车下坡时，竟然将自己的孩子从后座上颠掉了，然而这位妈妈却毫不知情，径直将电动车开走了。从地上爬起来的孩子，在原地愣了一会儿，便不顾马路上正在来往的车辆，飞奔穿过马路去追赶妈妈，一辆辆车子在孩子身边擦身而过甚是危险。
这一幕被正在十字路口岗亭里执勤的两位交警发现了，两位交警以百米冲刺的速度飞奔到孩子身旁，一把把孩子抱在怀里，将孩子安全带到路边。过了一会儿，粗心妈妈回来找孩子，交警便将孩子平安交还给她。（视频由浙江台提供）
