A fire destroyed a row of homes in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on Saturday morning (January 29).

Newsflare's filmer said: "Just after 9am a working fire was struck for the area along South 7th and Pine streets in Shamokin.

"County advised they received over 30 calls reporting a well involved fire, shortly after Shamokin chief 10 came on the radio and confirmed a working fire from blocks out.

"Command arrived and found multiple houses burning with several well involved.

"Crews immediately set up truck 32 as a master stream with engine squirt 41 and Truck 2 also setting up elevated streams. Engine 11 was also used for their deck gun to help extinguish the blaze.
