Irish politicians attend Bloody Sunday commemoration in Derry

Irish Taoiseach Micheal Martin, Foreign Minister Simon Coveney, Sinn Fein leaders Mary Lou McDonald and Michelle O’Neill attended a ceremony held in Derry, Northern Ireland on Bloody Sunday’s 50th anniversary.

The footage filmed on Sunday (January 30) shows the attendees gathered to listen to a speech during the ceremony.

Thirteen people were killed when soldiers opened fire on civil rights demonstrators in Derry on January 30, 1972.
