A woman has reunited with her childhood sweetheart after tracking him down on Facebook 15 years later - and now they are happily married with a son.

Olivia Mai, 40, fell for Tam Mai, 42, when they met in school aged 14 and 16 through a chemistry club party in December 1995 and were each other's prom date.

They were together for three years before they separated after Tam moved away to study at The University of Georgia, five hours from their home town of Brunswick, Georgia and struggling to make it work.

But despite both dating other people they couldn't get each other out of their heads and when Olivia's marriage ended in June 2014, she knew she wanted to reach out to Tam.
