This photographer managed to get close-up footage of a frozen waterfall near Lac de Derborence, Switzerland.

The filmer told Newsflare: "In the Derborence Valley in southwestern Switzerland there is a narrow road with a tunnel that has numerous windows.

"In front of one of those windows runs a small creek and waterfall and during winter when the air is cold long enough, not only does an icy stalactite form but it sometimes connects with the ground

"It depends how cold it gets and how long the cold air lasts, and also how much melting snow has fallen above. As soon as it gets warmer it will collapse under its weight and form another stalactite again if it gets cold again."
